Emergency heating & AC repair

What counts as an emergency?
- No heat when it's cold outside, especially with kids, elderly family or pets at home
- Risk of frozen pipes
- No cooling during extreme heat for someone vulnerable
- Water leaking from the system
- Burning smells or the system repeatedly tripping the breaker
Smell gas or have a carbon monoxide alarm? Get everyone outside first, then call your gas utility's emergency line or 911. Call us once you're safe.
What to do while you wait
- Check the thermostat settings and batteries
- Replace the filter if it's clogged
- Check the furnace switch (it looks like a light switch near the unit) and the breaker
- In a no-heat situation, open cabinet doors under sinks on outside walls to help keep pipes from freezing
