Rebate questions
Is there a federal tax credit for a new furnace or heat pump in 2026?
No. The federal Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit (25C) ended for equipment placed in service after December 31, 2025. Utility rebates are still available.
Do I apply for the rebate or do you?
It depends on the program. Some are instant discounts at the time of purchase; others are mail-in or online applications after installation. We'll help you with the paperwork.
How do I know which utility rebate I qualify for?
It depends on who provides your electricity and gas. Look at your utility bill, or ask John and he'll point you to the right program.
Rebate programs change. Amounts above were published by each utility as of September 2026. Always confirm with your utility before you buy.
